New General Manager Bles Dairies East Africa
We are pleased to inform you that as of January 1st 2024, Tsjalling Bles will join Bles Dairies as General Manager Bles Dairies East Africa. Tsjalling will be responsible for continuing the development of our activities in East Africa and will be working from our office in Eldoret, Kenya.
About Tsjalling Bles
Tsjalling is MSc educated in (Financial) Economics & Business at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Following his studies and some brief work in Private Equity/Investments, he started working for Arla Foods in 2020 starting off in their Global Management Traineeship. “After all, dairy flows through our veins.” At Arla Foods, he has fulfilled predominantly managerial Commercial & Business Development roles in the Middle East and North Africa Region. Here he worked with global brands such as Lurpak, Puck, Arla, Dano, Castello and Starbucks in Morocco, Egypt, UAE and for the last two years in Saudi Arabia. The last role he held was Commercial Manager, Milk Based Beverages, where he was commercially responsible for the Starbucks RTD portfolio in Saudi Arabia.
I have a passion for Africa as well as for the Agri & Food Industry. The opportunity to feed (East)-Africa’s fast growing population with sustainable value chains while improving farmer’s bottom-line inspire me, and I am motivated to contribute to this. It’s also why I am eager to start the position as General Manager Bles Dairies East Africa as of 1st January 2024. I’m much looking forward working with all of you and I’m confident we make it to a success together.
