Job Overview:

As the Farm Management Support Manager, your primary responsibility is to offer comprehensive business support to our customers and partner farms. Serving as the key business partner to dairy farm managers, your role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in dairy farm management and enhancing the profitability of Kenyan dairy farmers. Your activities will range from providing feed rations, reproductive advice, financial guidance, and technology integration to facilitating learning and development for farm employees.

You will undergo training and development from key experts in the Netherlands, enabling you to transfer knowledge on farming Support to our local customers. You will report to the General Manager of Bles Dairies East Africa, but will work closely with our National Sales Manager to deliver excellent customer service to our key customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Feed Rations / Cow Nutrition
  2. Reproduction Advice
  3. Financial & Budget Management Support
  4. Technology Integration
  5. Training and Development

After each visit, you will compile a detailed report for the farm manager and other stakeholders, clearly outlining recommendations aimed at achieving dairy farm Support and increased profitability.

As a key business partner to the farm manager, you will proactively and regularly check-in with the farm manager to deliver excellent customer service, extending your support beyond monthly visits. In addition to our existing customers, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers for our Farm Management Excellent network and contribute to the growth of our business.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Nutrition, or Dairy Management, agronomy farm with 3-5 years’ experience, including work experience on a dairy farm.
  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a consistently positive and proactive attitude in the workplace.
  • Proven experience in farm management or a similar role.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of agricultural technology and its application in farm management.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid drivers license
